This is a quote that summarizes the struggle we have today because not many of us are willing to sit with ourselves without any distractions like the phone, laptop, T.V, music etc. Sitting with ourselves is uncomfortable because it forces us to see the shadows that we carry around with us. As part of the program, we will do the silent challenge. For this, we sit around in a circle and stay quiet. We see how long we can last before someone speaks or stands up to leave. Our goal is to beat the last record which will be revealed after we loose the challenge. We will then create a safe space where we discuss self validation, self acceptance, self-love and self-esteem. We will see how our inner child has been waiting for us to call them home all along. Finally, we will let out all the pent-up energy that is no longer serving us by screaming in nature. Date: 5th July, 2026 Time: 11am- 3pm Venue: Mwalimu Place, Thika, Muruka - Kandara road. The ticket is Kshs. 1,000 and it covers entry, tea + snacks, activities and lunch. For visitors coming from Nairobi via public transport, you can go to nyamakima Total petrol station (Rhino) and take Kigumo T Sacco matatus (public bus) going to Kenol. It's Kshs. 150 You then alight at Makenji (Kenneth Matiba Hospital) just after Montezuma Funeral Home. From Makenji you take a Tuktuk to njira inya junction which is a few metres after the Muruka shopping centre. This is kshs. 50.
