QUEER FASHION WEEK NAIROBI 2026 23rd – 26th September 2026 A celebration of fashion, identity, creativity & self-expression. Welcome to the first edition of Queer Fashion Week Nairobi 🫶🏾 a fashion and culture experience bringing together designers, creatives, artists, and the community to explore the future of fashion in Kenya. More than a runway, this is a space for storytelling, bold ideas, and fashion beyond traditional boundaries. Experience Pass Includes: 25th September “Utanyesha!” Panel Conversation A conversation exploring fashion and gender: how Kenyans view androgynous fashion. “Utanyesha!” is a phrase commonly used in Kenya to shame or ridicule gender expression. This conversation reclaims the phrase and creates space for dialogue around identity, culture, and the evolving Kenyan fashion landscape. 26th September Main Fashion Show A curated runway experience featuring designers redefining contemporary fashion.
