FEMALE FESTIVAL

Female Festival 2026 will take place on 14–15 August 2026 at Nafasi Art Space, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The festival is an annual women-led arts and culture festival founded by Bahati Female Band to celebrate, empower, and amplify the voices of women in the creative and cultural industries. The festival provides a vibrant platform where female artists, musicians, dancers, filmmakers, fashion designers, poets, and creative entrepreneurs showcase their talents, exchange ideas, and connect with audiences and industry stakeholders. Through live performances, panel discussions, exhibitions, fashion showcases, film screenings, workshops, and networking sessions, Female Festival promotes gender equality, cultural preservation, creative entrepreneurship, and social inclusion. The festival also encourages collaboration between local and international creatives while creating opportunities for emerging talent to grow professionally. More than just a festival, Female Festival is a movement dedicated to breaking barriers, inspiring the next generation of women leaders in the arts, and using creativity as a tool for positive social change.
