And then she danced the Kibata, a dance that was never meant for a woman. It cost her everything. An evening of story, movement and sisterhood — a red carpet walk through the stories of Kenya's forgotten heroines, a conversation circle, live performance, a traditional dance workshop, and an open floor of Ginga, Kizomba, Konpa and Afro-Zouk.
